Polara Records Today
Polara is has been a private independent record label since 1983. In Feb 14, 2019, Polara became Polara Records with it's release of the "Two Weeks Inside Studio D: Vol. One" album recorded at Fantasy Studios for KCSM Jazz featuring 60 artists in the project.
Polara History
The Polara logo and label was created in 1983 by Karen E. Lile
The first record released under the Polara label was in 1983, in Berkeley, California, featuring Kendall Ross Bean, as artist in a 33 LP Vinyl Album titled "Chopin - Granados"
The first Polara Music Video was released in 1985 in partnership with Televents and was broadcast on Arts & Entertainment Network and nominated for an A.C.E. Award Classical Music Video
